Natural Ashram at Paz Corcovado

An opportunity to fully step out of modern life and live in our relaxed beachfront rainforest center

The ashram at Paz is a residential way of living for people that choose to take an important break to fully focus on themselves and ask nature for vitality and guidance.

It’s not a retreat or vacation.

People who join live on the land for a period of time, sharing daily life, meals, responsibilities, and the natural rhythm of an off-grid environment.

The Ashram is the container, nature and our approach are the key elements.

What Staying Here Looks Like

Living at the ashram means:

  • Sleeping in simple, shared accommodations — divided by gender

  • Eating communal meals prepared together.

  • Participating in daily tasks that keep the land running.

  • Focus your days on being present with yourself guided by the ashram program — which happens outdoors in the most beautiful spots in nature.

  • Living off-grid, off substance and off-line

We are not into telling people how to live, we propose an approach that resonates with the people that will thrive in Paz.

  • Living off-grid, off substances and off-line

  • There is no fixed agenda, but there is structure through daily life.

It is for people looking for an authentic natural experience that can be integrated into real life.

The area, all the living things, its beauty, spirit, whatever you want to call it - profoundly affects people. Resulting in a deep natural feeling of connection. Which we believe is essential in the complex, mechanical modern human world.

These things are related to the essential aspects of life, the powerful stuff that transforms you.

This is real nature at its prime, in a rainforest that wants to teach us about life. In a center that honors and is dedicated to learning and practicing nature-oriented spirituality.

A place that encourages direct spiritual discovery and becomes an assistant to nature nature taking you to the right place at the right time, while offering structure and discipline for those who truly want to integrate it into their lifes.

Based on contribution — not price

Paz does not operate as an accommodation or retreat. For this reason, residents do not pay for rooms, programs, or activities.

Residents make a basic daily contribution that helps cover food and essential operating costs needed to sustain life on the land, while prioritizing truth over profit.

Volunteers: Starting at $20 per day

Residents: $50 per night

Guests: $100 per night

The intention of the residency is not to teach, heal, or fix anyone.

Nature does that.

With time the body syncs with the rhythms of nature. Sun, moon, tides, sand, rocks, fire, rain and wind. Sounds and sights of wildlife.

The body slows down, stress dissipates, days lose urgency, thoughts soften, and life becomes less managed, something often begins to reorganize naturally.

Paz does not operate through methods, practices, or belief systems. There are no workshops, facilitators, or schedules to follow.

Instead, it creates the conditions for reconnection through simplicity and direct contact with life.

The residency offers space. What arises within that space belongs to each person.
